For infants and toddlers, the dental visit may consist of a quick examination and a trip to the treasure chest. As children are able to tolerate preventive services such and dental cleanings and fluoride treatments, we will introduce them to these procedures while they watch their favorite shows on the monitor above the chair.
As children enter the preschool and school age years, we begin taking x-rays periodically to detect cavities and other issues that cannot be seen by visual inspection alone.
